Senior for Senior Foster Program
The PAWS ‘Seniors for Seniors’ program matches people 60 and over
in the Creston area with older pets. These matches usually work out
well because older pets are trained, calmer, and quieter than
younger animals, so they better fit the lifestyle of an older
person.
Older adults may not want the commitment of a pet but have the room
in both their heart and their home for one. Senior pets can
sometimes be harder to adopt because of their age or because they
also have special needs, so this is also a win-win for the pet.
The program matches a senior pet with the applicant. PAWS covers the
medical expenses and special needs items.
In turn, we ask that:
- if the cat is an indoor cat, it
always be kept indoors
- you let PAWS know how the match is
working out
- you let PAWS know if the foster pet
has any health problems or behavioural concerns
- you let PAWS know if you can no
longer care for the pet

Salem
Male.
DOB: 10/4/2010.
Salem is a very handsome black senior boy. When he isn't curled up napping on a soft bed or sofa, he will seek out his people for pettings & a chat. This nice low-maintenance fellow loves his quiet life hanging out with his people & watching the world from his windows. Even though Salem has lived his whole live with his buddy, Sebastian, he would be ok with being adopted on his own. With such a sweet, quiet personality, he would be an ideal companion for any home. Salem is a Seniors For Seniors cat too! THINGS TO CONSIDER: Salem prefers a quiet adult home. He is friendly, but enjoys his own space.

Sebastian
Male.
DOB: 4/4/2009.
Sebastian is a sweet, black senior fellow. This nice cat loves hanging out with his people. He will seek out cuddles & pettings...he thinks nothing beats a gentle tummy rub! Sebastian thinks the best ways to spend his day are curled up in a warm sunbeam or beside his people on the sofa. And he is a Seniors For Seniors cat! While Sebastian would be happy to be adopted with his life-long buddy, Salem, he would be fine with being in a home on his own. With such a kind, gentle personality, this happy senior boy will be great addition to any home!

Our Lilli is a lovely Tuxedo girl. She has a nice soft coat with great markings.
Lilli is quiet, attentive, smart, and curious. This pretty girl is happy to be independent, but she enjoys hanging out with her PAWS volunteers. She loves to rub against our legs & feet to let us know that she is there & looking for a head scratch!
We just know that her perfect family is out there! And she is a Seniors for Seniors cat!
THINGS TO CONSIDER - Lilli prefers to be in a single cat family. She also is not shy to tell you when she no longer wants to be groomed, petted, or if she wants to be fed.
