When You Find a Lost or Stray Pet
Due to a shortage of trained volunteers, PAWS can no longer pick
up stray pets that are outside town limits. We may be able to pick
up a stray pet outside town limits during shelter hours (Tues. to Sat.
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). If the animal is in the Town of Creston, please call
Bylaw at 250-428-2214.
Please don’t wait too long to contact PAWS. If the pet has been
hanging around for a week or looks like it’s not doing well, please
call us.
The care of these vulnerable pets is very important to us, but we
could really use some help from the community we serve.
Here’s How You Can Help
- Secure the animal and get a photo (face and
full body most helpful.
-
Post to local social media sites. If you
don't have access, you can email PAWS at

may be a delay as emails are monitored by volunteers after
hours.

the stray.
